What is the appropriate tire size for my 86 Syncro?  Should it be 185/80
R14, 205/70 R14, or ?  I currently have 185/70 R14 Michelin XZX, which I
know are too small.  In addition, my present tires are not 6 ply, which I
will rectify with the impending purchase.  My local tire guru recommends
the Michelin (XC, I think) 6 ply, but I recall a list discussion
recommending Yokahama 356LT.   Almost all of my driving will be on
pavement, so I do not require a very aggresive tread.   Anyone have a
helpful comment?
