Sounds fair for the location,I've seen 80/81 air-cooled vanagons in
that range from private owners and dealers so that price seems good to
me.
   Buy an Orange County edition of the Recycler to get an idea of what
theings are going for down there.  There won't be many vanagons in the
paper but you can judge from that.
