Another chime in here for the high pressure oil sensor. The leak on our '87 was diagnosed as a main pulley seal leak and the PO had even ordered the part. I then took it to the local independent VW garage and they correctly diagnosed and fixed with a new sender. -Karl Trexlertown, PA Karl F.
