Subject: Van Alarm

Went for an alarm installation last week but they didn't do it because
they said they could not find a place to put the siren. ...>>

There's rooom in the engine compartment, under the front bumper (either
exterior side of the frames or next to the radiator behind the grill
(this is where mine is), not to mention other places.

I would recommend finding a new installer for an alarm. If they can't
find a hole in a Vanagon, then what else are they going to have problems
with?
