I heard just recently that the "cab-forward" Dodge Intrepid was actually
blue-printed and nearing production by AMC when they were bought out by
Chrysler.  I guess since they own the design and the designers, they can
claim its advances as their own.  Just like they do with Jeep -- as if
that line of vehicles was influenced much by Chrysler.
