Many thanks for the responses regarding the rotor replacement for my 86 GL.
 I now have enough ammunition to go in there and discuss with the service
manager exactly what he means by "replacing the stub axle"

Thanks also for the recommenfdations to replace the bearings at the same
time.  It sounds like a good idea...
