Go the scenic route and combine the two, drive to Colorado by the
first way and then go south into New Mexico and across Arizona to
Laughlin to play. Come into Cal by way of the high desert, take 15 south
to Victorville and you can go to San Diego on the same road. It goes
thru the inland route Corona,Temcula,Escondido and on to San Diego. It
isnt as dry and desolste as the southern way.
