My friendly local dealer here in Dallas, TX replaced my rear heater core without
charge. He explained the VW has recognized a weakness in their heater cores and
is standing by them... apparently for a long time.. mine is an '86 GL with 166K
miles and 3 POs. Maybe they just like me.......
