Mark,

  On the Zip Tye deal, I use one Bigger tye then "Between" the wires I
run a small zip tye around the zip tye.  This insulates the wires from
each other but still lets them follow the same path.  I've used this on
many cars including a race car that I ran for 4 years.  This helps to
keep the wires from touching hot surfaces etc on other types of cars.

  On the wires, I have Bosch wires for your Vanagon for $65.00.
