Hey gang,

Please help me determine a reasonable asking price for my 83.5 Westfalia.

-Good straight body with no rust. A few minor dings and dents.
-Good original paintwork, still glossy. A reddish brown color.
-Very clean and complete original interior. Brown and beige.
-New Michelin MX reinforced tires, new chrome hubcaps.
-New hatch struts, CV boots, muffler, tuneup, coolant flush.
-Does not consume or leak oil or coolant.
-Manual trans. Runs strong, avg. 21 mpg on a recent 2500 mile trip.
-Will not pass smog due to faulty valve sealing per local mechanics.
Strange considering above performance.
-Brakes, shocks, electrical system good. A/C, cruise, front heat needs work.
-Sink and stove fine. Fridge needs attention.

An excellent camper for someone not in a smog check zone or for someone
willing to troubleshoot. Drives and runs very well otherwise.

I love this vehicle but I plan to buy my first house soon and do not have
time to sort out the smog mystery and need the cash for a down payment.

I figured $4000-4500 to be fair. What do you think?
