I have had a whole bunch of luck visiting my local race car fabrication shop
during the winter and having them make custom tube bumpers, etc...
They usually have a good stock of frame tubing, the benders and welders, the
skills necessary for special fitting and the longing for work now that the
racing has ended for the winter.
