I know, the beam pattern is very different betwen the two, but the color makes the dsitinction that much greater. > (and at the same time clean up > the fuse box connections and grounds, run an additional 8 guage wire from > the alternator up front to the battery and possibly the fuse box, which seems to > have improve a few people's light output). There is already a 1/2" (approx) diameter cable between the battery and starter, so adding an additional 8ga wire here wouldn't add much, (the "alternator" wire is a large cable between the battery and starter and continues to the alternator with smaller wire). Between the starter and alternator, additional wire might be useful, and between the battery and the fusebox and/or fusebox to the lights might also be helpful. > Also, when adding relays for the headlights (and fogs), should these go in > the car or can they be mounted outside (or does it depend on the relay > usually?). I found room under the instrument cover to mount a pair of relays, one for the fogs and one for the driving lights. It's a handy location if you place the fog light switch in one of the otherwise empty switch positions. Regards, Jim Davis
