thanks in advance for any help you can give in getting me networked with
other VW folks.   I did send an email earlier today, but it was
extremely curt, even cryptic:  "subscribe vanagon firstname lastname".
Reason:  neew to this net stuff and when I tried to subscribe to another
service which advised specific words for subscription, it never added me
to the list with a message that added additional syntax, such as "Hi,
would you please accept this as request for subscription:  ADD LIST
SOUTHEAST.  I finally received a response when the body of message had
only the words requested.  Oh, well.  Hope to find an engine for my 90
Vanagon...a new rebuild preferably.
