All fuel filters aren't alike - some are designed with special pleating to
handle certain pressure and flow characteristics, so it's always best to
stick with the OE Design when dealing with something as finicky as Digijet
Fuel Injection (I speak from first-hand experience).

Bosch 0450 905 030 (Short # 71028) is the filter for your vehicle (as is
mine), metal cannister style and is a pretty common filter, so it should be
readily available.

This filter also fits:

*Lotsa BMW's, to wit: 318i 83-85, 92-94; 528e 82-88; 535i 85-93, 733i
79-84; 735i 85-92; M3 87-91 & 95, M5 87-88 & 90-93 plus too many more to list.

*Jaguar XJ6 79-87; XJS 80-88

*VW Cabrio 90-93 & 95; Corrado 89-94; Golf 88-95; Jetta 87-95

Oh yeah.........fits Yugos (!) 90-92

I usually get $10.75 and I've heard various FLAPS getting as low as $7.95
for 'em as well. Check a local NAPA store in your area, I'd be surprised
if they didn't have it.

Happy Holidays!
