As one who built an electric car (using the bits from the world's greatest
toy, a GE ElecTrac), I think a Van would be a perfect subject.  You've got
all the space in the world for batteries, which is the biggest desideratum.
 Wouldn't go very fast, but who cares?  Anyone who wants to go fast
shouldn't be diriving a van anyway.
