Would you like to see the TDI engine at work?

I found a website from a research facility in Aachen, Germany who
constructed a transparent TDI engine and filmed the ignition process.

It is at
http://www.itm.rwth-aachen.de/staff/antoni/tdi.schatten.html

It takes a little while to load depending on your connection speed, but then
you can actually see the combustion right where its happening looking up at
the valves.
