I tried driving mine once...I wouldn't recommend it. Tinkering is much safer.

Since we expect temps in the low 80's, I am going to remove evry one of the
bolts and nuts on the van this weekend, clean the threads with environmentally
safe solvent, reassemble, and torque them all to spec. I suppose the previous
owner didn't do this, so that means it hasn't been done since the van was
assembled.  Happy Fried-egg.
