Well, I never claim to know it all (even though my wife thinks I do!) but 123 ft. lbs sounds like about 50# too much. Anybody got the dreaded Vanagon service manual handy? I don't think the Rabbit one would work here ! Todd Hill VolksWerks Transaxles Olympia, WA
