I'd likely go in on a group purchase of these things; otherwise, I'll
probably buy a set anyway in the next year or two provided I can digest
something here...

Michael, I am wondering whether they reduce your approach angle because now
the van must clear what looks to be as much as 160mm (!) of bull bar that
wraps around underneath the vehicle.
