Just got back from a visit to a VW dealer in Ottawa, Ontario and asked if he
had any news on the EuroVan.  He said he did and showed me letter from VW
stating that it will be the GLS with VR6.  The price will be approximately
$45,000Cdn.!!!  Who is VW serving?  I'm now looking forward to the '99 Honda
or Caravan?!  Really disappointed, a former VW fan (84 VanagonGL,92
EuroVanGL and a  94 EuroVanGLS diesel, also  78 Rabbit diesel, 86 Jetta
turbo-diesel and currently a 97 GolfGL diesel).  Who are the "Volks" in the
new VW mentality?  Mark
