Try a new oil pump before a whole new engine. Its slightly cheaper and may give you many extra years of life. The waterboxer oil pump is a type 1 oil pump and as such there are aftermarket pumps with higher output then stock that will really do you alot of good if its your bearings and not the pump thats bad.
