There was a posting once of a guy in oregon that could get VC's for 600 bucks
rebuilt plus a 200 dollar core.  Does anyone remember this posting I have not
been able to find it but perhaps the person who intially posted it could speak
up???  Hope that helps

p.s. make sure your not just hearing a whine in the power steering.  My van
makes a whineing noise but its just my powersteering pump that needs to be
fixed up and if the fluid gets too low the noise becomes louder and sounds
like its commin from the front of the van but have done tests to know its not.
