I eventually had to go to VW Heritage in the UK to get them. And even that was almost an act of Congress - took almost 4 months to get them to my door step. They don't use the "M" numbers for the books anymore either. They use an 11 digit (all numbers) parts code for them now. I currently have Typ 2 Mod.86>87 and Typ2 Mod.88>92 on my bookshelf which I use daily. Couldn't get the Beetle, Bus or the 80-85 Van Books anymore (they said no longer published).
