Hi everybody!
My name is Calle Fallberg, I�m 42 years old and has just joined your
"little" mailinglist :-)
Boy do you guys have a lot to discuss!
And I�m enjoying every single bit of it!!
But I guess this was supposed to be about myself:
As stated above I�m 42 years old.
I�m living in a little village called Mullhyttan with about 600
inhabitants some 25 miles west of �rebro in central Sweden.
The reason I joined is that I recently bought a 1988 Vanagon wich I�m
going to convert to a "camper" and was surfing around to try and find
someone with a little bit of good ideas that I might be able to copy.
It�s not supposed to be anything fancy though, just a little room for me
and my lady to sleep in while we�re out on "exibitiontours " or just
vacations along with our dogs.
And since the dogs are quite big - Belgian Shepherd Dogs ( about the
same size as German Shepherds) - and there is four of them I�ll also try
and fit in a couple of cages.
And last but not least, I use the bus as a commuter �bout 500 miles a
month, sometimes - but rarely though- with passengers so I�d like it to
be easily convertable.
I�ve had a couple of VW�s before, a Rabbit diesel a couple of years ago
and a -74 Van in the mid eighties but othervise it�s been mostly
domestic cars, a couple of SAAB 99 & 900 and a bunch of Volvo station
wagons but the Vanagon seems to be the best "dogcar" so far :-) ,even
though I looked upon a couple of Toyotas and even an ASTRO before I
decided.
