Pat, Have you tried pressing the AM/FM button first, and then while holding it down, pressing and holding the SCAN button (until 1000 shows)? As opposed to pressing and holding both the AM/FM & SCAN buttons simultaneously... Just a thought... Norman just-reset-his-Premium-radio Leong
