        Thanks for your reply.  I just changed the filter and fluid
today.  Still makes the same sound.  There was some stuff (looked like
chrome plating, some real small stuff and 2 pieces of metal that were .5
inches long and very thin, less than .5 teaspoon total).  What are the
signs of impending auto transmission failure?
