Get the auto club book on Cal. and look up Doheny State beach, it is
located at the southern edge of Capistrano on the old Pacific Coast
Hiway. There are several other campsites on the way south including one
at the Nuclear plant.  I would suggest having the auto club make you
reservations for you as it can be crowded during the summer.  South of
Oceanside into the city of San Diego there are more camp sites right on
the beach that are perfect for Westie camping.  Good luck!
