I have heard from a number of sources that the fox was crap. I haven't owned
one, but have had Jettas and a Golf. Good cars.

That short commute is going to KILL any car though. Ten minutes is not enough
time to warm up the motor and exhaust: the condensation that has become steam
at that point then re-condenses inside the motor and exhaust, becomes an
corrosive, and ruins bearings, rings, and exhast parts.
