This is a short update to my earlier post dated 4-1-98.

I just spoke with Todd of Proven Force (driveshaft & u-joint specialists in
Minneapolis, (800) 444-0755) who informed me that they have located a local
supplier for the correct size u-joint for the Syncro driveshafts.
Therefore, they will do the entire job of u-joint replacement and
driveshaft balancing for about $ 135.  This includes all parts and labor,
although UPS shipping is extra.

He also said that they are now stocking the u-joints, so turn-around time
is very fast.  He added that there have been 4 out of town Syncro owners
who have had their driveshafts repaired by Proven Force within the last
month.
