Hello

I did that when I first bought my van....not quite sure how it happened or if
it was the way yours is now and I just totally messed it up or I did it myself
either way I went out and bought a thing that re-threads your hole and
basically makes a new drain plug.  Yes the fix does hang a little because you
have a small 13mm bolt that you take out when you do an oil change.  Im not
sure what they are called but if you go to your local auto place they'll know
about em.  I had to increase mine by one size.  Hope that helps.
