there are 3 different middle seat arrangements that were offered for the
Westy's.

1)  2 person middle seat, mounted on sliding tracks. (can be obtained from any
7 passenger van - preferably the weekender model, with the backrests that fold
forward)
need to bolt the sliding tracks to the floor - seat slides in and out of
tracks. (these tracks were std on some westys)

2)  single swivle bucket seat mounted on locking storage box, mounted on
sliding tracks. (big $$ good luck finding one)

3) single rear facing jumpseat (folding, theatre type) mounted behind pass
seat, facing rearwards. (can be obtained from any '87 up wolfsburg or Carat
Vanagon)

all are removeable with ease.
