Actually the dryer on a Porsche 944 is the same identical unit -
Rabbits/Golf/Jetta *MAY* be similar, but not identical that I've seen.  I
sell 'em:

944 573 143 00  Receiver/Dryer Bottle   $25.50
                Vanagon Late 86-91 (From VIN 25 G 075 001)
                VW # 253-260-633A (Dealer $160.75)
Note:  Superseded this year to 253-260-633D - Dealer Price is $156.05.
Porsche gets about the same price, last I checked.
