On the right side, coming through the firewall, are 2 clear plastic hoses. The short one attaches to the front of the airfilter housing, the longer one attaches to a short "pipe" on the right-side tinware of the engine, just above the alternator. There's a hose that runs from the oil breather to the air intake elbow; there's a thin metal fitting that slips inside this hose and goes into a corresponding hole in the air intake elbow. There's a hose that runs from the aux air regulator up to another hole in the air intake elbow; it fits into the white plastic "Y" fitting. The last hose runs from the other arm of this "Y" over to the decel valve. --------------------------------------------------------------------- Tom Young young@sherlock.SIMS.Berkeley.EDU Lafayette, CA 94549 '81 Vanagon ---------------------------------------------------------------------
