I have done this a few times.  When replacing the pump count on replacing
those two small rubber hoses at the same time (they are about 2 inches long,
one is right under the A/C compressor and the other is right to the left of
the crank pulley.
Also a good time to change your thermostat if it needs it or do a coolant
flush.
