Oops, my bad. I didn't try searching the archives, only accessing the
archived messages. Sorry for the confusion. They don't work for me either,
same error message:

Unable to initiate communication with LISTSERV. Error code was 5 ("Access is
denied.") The server is probably not started.

I'm cc'ing Ron, one of the list admins, he'll get it fixed.
