My new '81 Westy comes with the 2nd battery option, but no battery.  I
assume that the extra battery should be a gel-cell or some other
non-leaking type?  And what about the regular battery?  Is it a special
one, since it sits in the interior?

The archives seem to be down, or at least not responding to my requests,
sorry if this is a bit re-hashed.
