Steve,

No- you're not crazy. Take it from someone sadder and wiser, who has
had to repair all kinds of negligence-based problems, including almost
the WHOLE COOLING SYSTEM as well as many of the other things you list.
Fuel lines come soon; heads were already done before I bought it.
(much $$$)

As I was doing every other repair, I had to have used every
scatological word around to describe the PO for being such a slacker.
The van drives wonderfully, but has had almost every wear item screw up.

Just as the FRAM guy said years ago, "Pay me now or pay me later."
