Hi George, The procedure for taking apart the chamber is self-evident (5/6 sheet metal screws). The discovery I made recently is that the actual burner assembly can be removed and examined. The fine orifice (jet) that the gas comes out (then travels on down that tube, mixing with air, finally burning via those slots), was plugged in my friend's fridge that we were troubleshooting. We cleaned it with a fine brass wire (careful not to damage the jet), and the fridge lit like it was meant too. alistair
