The Vanagon is back in the shop today to have a new cold start cable installed which was ordered when the rebuilt injector pump was installed. James Berry Pike Rd, Alabama >> Hi James, what does the cold start cable have anything to do with a hot start problem? As long as you have 400 lbs or more of compression, timing absolutely correctly set ( advance timing from .88 to .98 ), new or good injectors and diesel fuel that isn't Texaco ( use Chevron, BP, union 76 etc ) , you shouldn't have any problemos. Good luck. Michael Modl. 87 syncro
