I finally solved the continuous blinking red light on the 84 temp guage by replacing the temp guage (which has a built in electronics circuit in it) with a used but otherwise good guage. Now the replacement is doing the same thing, blinking all of the time. Does anyone have any experience with replacing the temp guage? If I purchase a new guage from the dealer, will it suffer from shelf age and go out the same way?
