  I read Johns post about him stopping at his dealer and asking about
converting his vanagon.  I love the response,
> " He said they had never done a conversion and there were no kits available from VW to do this conversion. "
Being a employee for VW and a VW hobbiest, it really bothers me to hear
that.

Unforunately, at most dealerships "Vanagon, Eurovan and Type2 " are
dirty words, as is most older models.  If its older than 4 or 5 years,
its old and none of the tech's want to touch it.

John, what you should do is go back and tell him to dig out his old
Bulletin book for 1995 go to group 87 publication # 95-3 dated May 31st
and he'll find the kit to convert your bus to R 134a.  If anyone wants a
copy, send a SASE to the address below.  I'll be happy to send you a
copy.

LiMBO prez Dale Ward had is bus done and he is VERY HAPPY with the
