I've found a beautifully restored 1980 Westfalia Vanagon. The only red flag
is that it is an automatic. The engine is about 20K on a rebuild and the
tranny was rebuilt in '96. How concerned should I be about the auto
transmission. I am having it checked by a mechanic I just want opinions
about "down the road" maintenance.
