Looking at the BGB (big green book) I noticed a difference in the
schematics between 84,85 and 86-88 (re pages 97.138 and 97.141).
On the earlier models they show the dropping resistor as part of the
fan(maybe why you can not locate yours). On the newer models the resistor
is seperate.
My wife just left with the 85 or I would go out and look.
