Just curious, what was your Honda's name?

that's a great question, and the answer reinforces the fine points my
fellow listees have made again and again. my honda had no name. it was a
fine, reliable machine, but unremarkable in the extreme. before the
honda i owned a perky mazda 323 that would not die. for this reason, i
named it elvis. when elvis and i parted (a parting i regret to this day)
i knew that no other vehicle would ever be elvis again for me. but ya
know, my mom and dad refer to the syncro as "big elvis." to me, she's
magnus, after magnus ver magnuson, at one time the world's strongest
man.
