Hey, let's be easy on the newbee.

Sure He's ragging a few folks, and questioning the very nature of VW ownership
(karma, extensive on-going maintenance, etc.) but it takes a while to accept
or deny the urge that make us the owners of the coolest, yet quirkiest
vehicles man (woman) has made.

My wife's bus (1976 bus) makes me shudder with maintenance. But every morning
it makes her SMILE. She enjoys the VW experience, even after seeing a motor
rebuilt in our living room. Some folks wouldn't hang. Let the man have a
chance.
