Mine is doing just fine...just hit 77k miles...put on a new set of
Michelins a month ago....oil change yesterday (Mobil1)....replaced front
pads twice. Replaced power steering/alternator/ac belt last year as a
precaution.

Basically most trouble free vw van I've owned.
