I am still trying to work out a solution with my insurance company over the
loss of my 87 Wolfsburg..What I would like is your honest estimates of what
you would pay for this van if it was for sale..Details as follows..87
VanagonGL Wolfsburg edition, fold away table, light, queen seat in the back, 7
passenger seating, jump seats, 99,500 on van..4,000 on VW installed factory
rebuilt engine. New tires,
reconditioned factory alloy wheels, PS,PB,locks, automatic also over hauled 4K
ago, new battery, AC convereted to 134a, excellant air I might add, body in
perfect shape, NO rust at all, always garaged, interior near perfect, new
carpets, windows tinted, cruise control, all in all a perfect van.

The insurance company Hastings Mutual tell me they cant find any to compare it
to, they started out offereing 2500..I told them no..now they are at 4,000..I
said no way. They say thats it, take it or leave it..well..I cant tell you
what I said next, because this forum does not allow those words. Anyway..I am
taking them to the insurance commision in Michigan and would love all the help
I can get by giving me your honest opinions.

If you are insured with these guys you might want to check your policy to make
sure you have enough coverage. As for me I am cancelling my other 4 cars,
home, both business policys I have with them, but that still doesnt get me
straight. SO..any help would be gratefully appreciated...Cathy and Eric...
