One thing that I did when I pulled my tank and replaced all the gaskets and hoses is that rather than using the cloth-coverd VW hose for the vent lines, I used fuel-injection hose and clamps. Perhaps a bit of overkill, but it is not a job that I want to repeat in the near future. Todd '88 Westfalia
