Try VW dealers to get a new one.  VW plastic parts are easy to "dry-out"
and crack.  Most old one in junk yards are cracked too.

I need some plastic parts. I need the clip that holds the sun visor to the
windshield, not the hinge part but the stabilizing clip towards the center
of the windshield. I also need the plastic parts that fit on the mechanism
that rolls the windows up and down. Anyone have any recommended sources?
