Fram filter and most of other popular brands does not have a build-in
pressure relief valve like Mann or VW filters. You can tell the difference
even by weight. Use the 20W-50 oil will help too.

I have read on numerous occasions that FRAM filters will cause low
oil
pressure on our Vanagons. It appears that Quaker State filters have the
same problem, at least on my van. After a 1500 mile run to Vermont from
Nebraska with no oil pressure problems (ever), I did an oil change and
installed a Quaker State filter (the only one they had besides Fram). The
first hard freeway run after the change I experienced the terrifying
buzzer/light combo as I slowed down. Happened several times. Changed the
filter, problem disappeared.
